Assistant or Associate (pre-tenure) Professor of Marketing
About the Position: A full-time, tenure track position as the Assistant or Associate Professor level is available in Marketing.  Women, minorities, persons with disabilities, veterans and those from diverse cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply. About the College:  The College of Business and Economics is considered a leadership unit within the university.  The College is AACSB accredited at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has more than 60 full-time faculty. The College grants Bachelors of Arts degrees in Business Administration, Business and Sustainability, Accounting, Manufacturing Management and Economics along with the MBA degree. Relatedly, the Aspen Institute in its annual “Beyond Grey Pinstripes” rankings named the MBA program a Top 100 MBA Program in the world in Social Responsibility. The Department of Finance and Marketing has 300 undergraduate majors and 12 faculty members.

Position Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities would include Marketing and Sustainability and could include Marketing Research, Advanced Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, International Marketing, and Retailing at the undergraduate or MBA levels.
Required Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or ABD in Marketing or equivalent with expectation of completion by Fall 2018
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching or the demonstration of teaching promise
  • Ability to teach Marketing Strategies for Sustainability
  • Scholarship record commensurate with the number of years since completion of the Ph.D. or its equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively with and teach to an increasingly diverse student population that includes students traditionally underrepresented in business fields
  • Excellent communications skills
  • High degree of professionalism and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional experience in the marketing field
  • MBA or equivalent degree
  • Ability to teach additional marketing courses as needed such as: Marketing Research, Principles of Marketing, Advanced Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Integrated Marketing Communications, Retailing, and/or International Marketing
  • Research experience in Sustainable Marketing and/or Transformative Consumer Research
  • Ability to work well with colleagues

Salary: $100,000 - $105,000/year
